Unveiling the Process of Idaho's Best Awards: A Fair and Accurate Competition For Pawn

The Idaho's Best Awards are a highly anticipated event in the state, known for its commitment to delivering accurate and fair results. With four stages spanning several months, this competition goes above and beyond to ensure that only the best of the best are crowned winners. Idaho's Best Awards go the extra mile to recognize outstanding businesses and individuals in the state.

Stage 1 - Nominations:

Kicking off the competition, Idaho residents have the opportunity to nominate eligible candidates for various categories. The nomination period for the 2023 awards is set from January 2 to 13, 2023. To make it on the radar of Idaho's Best Awards, a candidate only needs to be nominated once. However, nominations are subject to approval by Inbound Systems to ensure that the category is relevant to the candidate. At the end of January, based primarily on reviews from the previous year, up to three candidates per category per region will be announced as official nominees. It's crucial for nominees to claim their nomination by March 8, 2023, to receive important notifications and potential preference in the final results, such as tiebreakers.

Stage 2 - Voting:

Once the nominees are announced, the competition moves to the voting stage. Idaho residents can vote for their favorite candidates in each category. The voting period for the 2023 awards is set from February 20 to March 8, 2023. To maintain the reliability of the results, participants are restricted to one vote per category, although they can vote multiple times for the same company if it's in a different category. The top three to five nominees with the highest scores in each category, averaged if multiple locations, will move on to Stage 3 as finalists. The finalists will be announced on the Idaho's Best Awards website as soon as the results are verified. Nominees can share the voting page via various channels, such as email, social media, or radio ads, to encourage votes. However, nominees are not allowed to incentivize or pay for votes to ensure a fair competition.

Stage 3 - Reputation:

What sets Idaho's Best Awards apart is their unique approach of not only relying on votes but also considering online reviews. For the reputation stage, the competition takes into account the online reviews of the finalists for the previous 12 calendar months leading up to March 8, 2023. A finalist's rating and number of 5-star reviews averaged if multiple locations on Google are included in the equation. This means higher ratings and more 5-star reviews can improve the chances of winning. Additionally, data from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) is also referenced to ensure that only the best businesses are crowned winners, with BBB Accreditation having no influence on the results. Reviews are given more value in the final calculation, as they can be more difficult to obtain. The simplified formula for determining the winners of each category is: 5-Star Reviews x Overall Rating + Votes.

Stage 4 - Winners:

After the votes and reviews have been tallied, and the BBB ratings of each finalist have been checked, the winners are finally unveiled. Awards are given on both a statewide and regional basis, with regions including Central Idaho, Eastern Idaho, Panhandle, and Treasure Valley. The winners will be revealed on the Idaho's Best Awards website within a few weeks after the voting is over. The first announcement of the winners will be made at the Idaho's Best Awards Ceremony, which is currently scheduled for the evenings of April 18-19, 2023, in Boise.
